Pet’s Cough and Cold Formula™

Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula is an all-natural dietary supplement formula for acute respiratory health challenges associated with non-specific fever, runny nose, coughing, and acute respiratory congestion (including the Canine Flu). The herbs in this formula are known to be immune stimulating, fever reducing, drying and protecting to the lungs. Can also be used to strengthen and support immune system health when pet has been exposed to other animals with acute respiratory conditions.
You can give Pet’s Cough & Cold if your pet has been exposed.
What is the Canine Flu?
There are two levels of the Canine Flu:
The mild form—Some dogs have a dry cough similar to the “kennel cough” caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica/parainfluenza virus complex. For this reason, canine influenza virus infections are frequently mistaken for “kennel cough.” Dogs with the mild form of influenza may also have a thick nasal discharge, which is usually caused by a secondary bacterial infection.
The severe form—Dogs with the severe form of canine influenza develop high fevers (104ºF to 106ºF) and have clinical signs of pneumonia which may be due to a secondary bacterial infection.
The fatality rate from the canine influenza is low (5% – 8 %). However, almost all dogs, regardless of breed or age, are susceptible to the infection.
To date, there is no evidence of transmission of canine influenza virus from dogs to people. However, because of concerns about diseases that are transmissible from dogs to people, in general, it may be prudent for young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and immuno-compromised persons to limit or avoid contact with animals that are ill.
Follow good hygiene and infection control practices to help stop the spread of the disease.
Keep infected dogs away from healthy dogs.
Wash hands before and after handling each dog, after cleaning cages, before and after using the restroom.
Symptoms are similar to the canine flu, a dry barky cough with a discharge from the eyes or nose.
Some dogs will display a soft moist cough with more discharge.
The recommended protocol for the canine flu is Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula ™.
For dogs with a soft moist cough, it is recommended that you use Vibactra Plus in addition to Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula
.
Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula ™ is safe and can be used to help your pet battle many upper respiratory infections. Using Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula ™ in conjunction with Amber Technology’s Vibactra Plus ™ (an all-natural anti-biotic) may help those overcome pneumonia due to the bacterial infection canine flu can cause
.
Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula ™ should only be used for specific ailments and conditions.

How to tell the difference between Kennel Cough and the Canine Flu:
The symptoms of the canine flu are similar to kennel cough with the exceptions of a discharge from the eyes and or nose. The canine flu is a viral infection verses a bacterial infection which causes kennel cough.
The canine flu can turn into pneumonia very fast if not treated.
It has been found that not many antibiotics are affective on the canine flu.
If you are using an antibiotic on your dog and it continues to worsen it may be because the antibiotic is ineffective towards the virus.
Because the infections are of a different source and not enough studies have been performed they need to be treated differently.
We suggest using the Kennel-Koff for kennel cough and the Pet’s Cough and Cold Formula for the canine flu.
If you are not sure what your pet has, it is perfectly safe to use both Kennel-Koff (antibiotic) and Pet’s Cough & Cold Formula (cough formula).
If your pet continues to cough after 10 days of using the product we recommend taking your pet to your Veterinarian for further diagnosis.
